Voici quelques photos du marché ce matin. Les fleurs et les jeunes plants sont sortis. Les fraises et les asperges aussi. Ça sent déjà l’été :0)
Here are a few pictures of the Farmers’ Market this morning in Libourne. The flowers are out. The asparagus and strawberries as well. I will post asparagus recipes this coming week. A can smell summer already :0)
Wonderful photos of Marche. We really miss the sunny day ‘marche’ of France. Your photo virtually took us to France.
I love the marché as well. All that food is so tempting for a foodie like me. I’m glad you had the chance to experience them in the past. I hope you come back again someday. In the meantime, welcome to My French Heaven!!
Merci. We hope to visit France again, this time we would like to visit your place. Before that we can get the essence of France from your post.
Beautiful pics!!! I am headed to the farmers market now actually 🙂
Enjoy!
Oh my goodness, your photos are gorgeous. I wanna go there.
You should Michelle! You have a friend here 🙂
We will try to go one day and stay at your B&B too! You have a really gorgeous place and a great blog.
Thanks Michele! I hope you do! 🙂
beautiful photographs!
Thanks Han!!
Always love the photos of the farmers market. It looks like such a phenomenal place to spend some time.
I hope I get to take you there with me in person one day…
Isn’t there a beautiful market (farmers’ or fish) in your lovely area?
These pictures are so beautiful! They put a smile on my face!
I’m so glad! That’s the kind of reaction I love 😉
These photos bring tears to my eyes. I could so live in Europe. Doesn’t look anything like the farmer’s markets here. Absolutely gorgeous shots, too! Thanks so much for sharing,
Thank you so much Victoria! Maybe one day you’ll come visit 🙂
Gorgeous photos, as always… why was the French man rude?
Thanks! No, he wasn’t rude. It was a little bit of humour as people always say that French people are rude and this kid just looked like such an angel… 🙂
LOL 😀 Well I have encountered fewer rude people in France than I have in my own country!
I see I’m going to have to look more closely for your cameos. 🙂 We have a small but thriving farmers market in town but I would love one like yours. So much variety!
I love this market. There are about 200 vendors. Mostly food…
I was prancing around Nice food market a couple of years ago about this time. Those gigantic tomatoes, the little round courgettes, smoked garlics, sheets of dried red peppers…! Hemmm just amazing!
🙂
Lovely pictures! I love all the sights, sounds, and colors of farmers markets!
Thank you! I do to! They make living here even better 🙂
Thank you for the mini-vacation! So fun to see your pictures!
You are welcome darling! 🙂
Lovely! Oh those tomatoes make my mouth water!
Thanks Cathy! It is good to be able to get descent tomatoes again… 🙂
I so look forward to reading your posts each and every time. What stunning photos and how wonderful it is to imagine I’m there. If there was a mittsandmeasures award for best blogs, you would get surely be awarded it from me. 🙂 Keep up the good work…!
Thank you so much! Your comments always make my day 🙂
Nice shots from the marche’. I had “risotto con asparegi” (the white ones from Bassano) this past weekend. Great dish.
I love a good risotto!
As alwyas, your photos are soooo beautiful and you have the power to make me feel as I were really there, in your beloved France!
thanks for sharing xxxx
Thanks Michela! I hope i get to welcome you here someday 🙂
Looking forward to your asparagus recipes! I wish I could find tasty tomatoes in London… Farmer’s markets are great.
Hi Yvanne, yes, tomatoes are getting better. They will have even more taste in about a month… Then it will be tomatoes and mozzarella almost every day 🙂
Markets are such a feast! Lovely photos, the colours are so rich. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure! The market is one of my favorite things here… 🙂
I seeeeee you
😉
The other day you commented about the cartoon character priest as your nephew’s christening. I think your travelling baker must be from the same movie! You photos are wonderful as always. Thanks for sharing
You are so right! He really looks incredible 🙂
Hi there, this may be a bit of a cheeky request but would you mind sharing how you get your photos into such a nice montage effect with twenty-eleven theme? All I ever seem able to do with my photos is to have them in a long line one below the other and I’m finding it very frustrating!
Hi Sarah! Super easy: when you insert media, you’ll find a “create gallery” option on the left. Click that and follow the instructions… 🙂
Thanks, that’s great! Makes such a difference
My brother was in Antibes last week. Like you photos it seems to be be another hemisphere from cold, wind-blown UK. Thanks for some warm, sunny images.
You are welcome my dear. My sun is your sun. You can come get some anytime 😉 Your brother is lucky! I spent most of my childhood summers sailing around Antibes etc. Lovely part of France…
Your welcome is as warm as your native sun! Thank you. I personally won’t be going anywhere as I’m tied to my native soil for the foreseeable future, but can enjoy armchair travel though your lovely posts. 🙂
One day 😉

Better than I even imagined….Thank you!!
I hope one day I can take you with me!! 🙂
Me too!!! You are on the top of my bucket list.
Lovely. If I could spend every morning strolling through farmers’ markets, I’d be thrilled. Such a treat for the senses.
It really is! Thanks for dropping by! 🙂
Oh, I really liked your Alfred Hitchcock technique of a small cameo appearance in every production. I almost missed it. 🙂
I almost look like him unfortunately. I need to lose some of that weight… 😉
No worries….I’ll take your place. Then the photos will truly look authentic!
Oh, the tomatoes look divine – I cannot wait for fresh tomatoes with real, true flavor again! I especially love the photos of the traveling baker, the basket of tulips and the Stilton cheese! Beautiful shots and such a lovely market!
These big tomatoes are the only ones that have some taste. We need to wait another month or two to have all the varieties I like… 🙂
