I’m still doing some research for Christmas. Boy do I love Pinterest! I am definitely making the family photo lanterns for the table and the little houses to plug into the coffee cups! I am also thinking of a bird cage with paper angels in it…
Does anyone have a great recipe for cookies. I need something that will be thin, flat and can be cut in precise shapes…
I have already built my music list on the Iphone. I took most of the songs on “Buon Natale” mostly featuring Frank and Bing Crosby.
So put on some Christmas classics (it will put you in the spirit) and go to my Pinterest board (click here) for more ideas and direct links to helpful websites. I am so excited…
Voici d’autres idées pour Noël. J’adore les lanternes de table avec les photos en transparence…

Sounds absolutely divine. I closed my eyes and pretended I was there.
You are so funny Sandra! Happy new year to you! Lots of love and continued good health!!!
You too!
If you have even just a few of these items in your home during Christmas, I think I would feel so at home there and enjoy the ambience created, along with the wonderful smells from the cookies and Christmas songs from Bing and others (I true have his CD, called “I Wish You a Merry Christmas”, playing right at this very moment. Now, don’t think me morbid, but I truly love the angel who has left his skeleton behind on this earth — what humour! 😉
Sorry for the late answer Janina! I will post on my Christmas very soon.It was magical! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!!!
Oh Stephane you’re such a whiz, I love the little angels – and all the other ideas you’ve put on here too. I’ll be following your Pinterest boards in a flash, I’m absolutely and positively ADDICTED to Pinterest. Also, maybe you’d like to come down-under to Queensland next year for Christmas at our house – but only if you ‘do’ Christmas for us, lol!!!
Just checked out some more of your Pinterest site – just love the Crust design idea from absolutelygf.com. Knowing my luck, I’d probably burn the pastry decorations on top of the pie.
Must be nice to have snow around Christmas time. Hot days Down Under don’t necessarily make for much Christmas spirit.
I love the collection of photos -especially the faces on the gingerbread! I had a great cookie recipie we always made growing up with a pinch of nutmeg in I think. They were great for rolling out and decorating. I am not sure if I have it here in China, but I will take a look.
these are beautiful ideas. too bad I don’t celebrate Christmas!
Pinterest is so addicting! I love the ideas you found. And now I’ll follow you on pinterest so I can keep up with those ideas. 🙂
LOVE the angels mini-pies at the very top. I have a sugar cookie recipe that is delightfully crisp and full of flavor. Link here: http://keepingupwithmrssmith.com/desserts/the-best-sugar-cookie-recipe/. For a gingerbread recipe, I’d use the one from Smitten Kitten because it is dark and rich and has beautiful results. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful! We have very similar tastes in our holiday decorating, love it all and followed your board. Pinterest is the best thing ever- its like a magazine you get to put together yourself with all of your loves.
I love pinteresttoo! but it is so iinspirational and depressing at the same time (how do people make such beautiful crafts!)
I don’t know if I should be alarmed that I knew exactly what you meant by the ‘little houses to plug into the coffee cups’ – I must be spending too much time on pinterest! It all looks very festive and your link has allowed me a post lunch look over at your board.
I want to make the angry gingerbread men! They made me laugh out loud! 😀
Reblogged this on The Jackson Diner.
Beautiful
I am stealing that idea from the brown packet that says Happy Perkieth Birthday!
Steal away my dear! That’s what it’s for 😉
Me thinks you are going to be a very busy man over the next couple of weeks!
Me thinks you’re right and me starting to freak out 🙂
LOL!
Don’t freak out. Just calm down. Pour a wee glass of wine (or two). Take a deep breath in (to the count of 4) and then breathe out (to the count of 7).
Breathe slowly and gently for 5 minutes and your blood pressure is guaranteed to drop at least 30 points in that short time.
An alternative……..close your eyes slowly and gently, and then imagine an enormous eggshell full of chocolate sauce breaking over your head. Imagine it slowly trickling down over your head….trickling, trickling down your neck (relaxing those neck muscles), then your shoulders (relaxing those tight shoulder muscles) and so on down your body. By the time you’ve imagined the chocolate sauce reaching the floor, you should be cool, calm and totally relaxed. I used to do this when I had bad episodes of tachycardia. Once you’ve mastered the technique & visualisation, you will be able to keep calm in any situation. (even Christmas….LOL).
(As a Foodie, chocolate sauce visions should work for you).
Some more beautiful ideas Stephane – thank you! Only a couple of weeks to go now… 🙂
I know! I am getting so excited AND a little nervous too…
Wonderful, truly great ideas for the festive season!
What a wonderful selection of ideas for the Christmas table – thanks for sharing.
My pleasure dear Vicki!!
Gorgeous!
