Two wonderful couples stayed with me at the B&B this week. Wine lovers from Vancouver, I think they had a wonderful time.
I sent them to my favorite restaurant on the other side of the hill: Le Clos Mirande. They walked there through the vineyard at sunset and had dinner on the terrasse overlooking the hills and the vines. The next day, they stayed around Saint Emilion. They had tours and wine tastings at Château des Laudes and Château Figeac. The visit of the underground church was also on the program that day. They were blown away by it… On Friday, they followed the road to Médoc through Margaux and Pauillac. They had lunch at Château Lynch Bages followed by a private wine tasting. This morning, before leaving for Paris, I took them with me to the Farmers’ market in Libourne. We stopped by Pétrus on the way…
What a pleasure to welcome such wonderful people from all over the world and share my French heaven with them… A true privilege!
