No, I’m a bad liar! This is my niece’s recipe, not mine: 0) Anyway, the result is the same: It is absolutely delicious!
For 6-8 people:
– Melt 200g chocolate (at least 70% cocoa content) and 180g butter together VERY slowly in a pan
– Beat 6 whole eggs with 300g of powdered sugar until the mix becomes pale and add 110g of flower
– Add the chocolate butter mix, stirring gently with a whisk
– Pour into a pie pan and bake at 200 ° for 20 to 25 minutes
Ca a l’air exquis! J’ai hate d’essayer la recette!
Vous me direz comment c’était! 🙂
I finally got to make this cake. Delicious, even if I didn’t get it quite right at the first attempt. Too much to say why here but I put the story (and your picture) on my blog
http://www.grumpytyke.com
together with a little known food fact about another Frenchman (would you believe stew and dumplings?).
Love your blog, love your food, love your pictures – what more can I say?
You are way too kind to me! I love your post and appreciate you referring back to me. The pan I use is an inch deep and about 12 inches in diameter. You should enter the game! The number one referrer right now has only sent about 7 people. I’m sure you can do better just with your friends and family!!! Thanks again for a great post.
Merci 🙂
(Apologies if my French isn’t quite correct – I have much to learn!)
Your French is quite good! If you try the chocolate cake, don’t forget the ice cream to go with it:0)
That looks perfect: squishy inside and crunchy on top! Mmm!!
Thanks! Glad you like it:0)
truly divine! so chocolate-ty I want to take a bite into the pictures.
I’m glad you like it! I’m sure there are much fancier recipes for chocolate cakes out there, but this one is good enough for me. My only regret is that I should have added ice cream on the pictures. I’ll do it next time:0)

Looks absolutely fabulous!
Thanks! You should try it. It takes no time at all:0)
